I have spent the last six months working on the transition from Asset Hub Migration (AHM) and Revive to Parity's work in Personhood, prototyping, and the economics of securing Polkadot.
In January, we successfully launched Revive on Polkadot, supporting PVM and EVM based contracts.
We have already seen the benefits of both efforts. On Paseo for example, we were able to deploy multiple testnets to a single network (as in, multiple Asset Hubs, People Chains, etc.). With smart contracts, we are also able to make prototypes faster than ever before.
In this period, we have turned our attention toward Proof of Personhood, security economics, and Revive performance. Reducing the cost of securing the network will be a big initiative in the second half of this year and will involve the integration of Personhood into validating.
