A referendum to approve https://github.com/polkadot-fellows/RFCs/pull/43 was opened and passed with a single vote in favor.
This referendum was announced on the GitHub discussion after an edit. Because I've read the message on GitHub before the edit, I have missed the existence of this referendum.
The discussion on GitHub didn't reach a conclusion, and I believe that the referendum was opened in bad faith.
I am against RFC 43, as I believe that it further cements Polkadot into one reference implementation and prevents alternatives to Substrate from ever emerging.
