Afaiu, the Gossamer Polkadot client implementation is being sunsetted.
I believe the work described here can be accepted as core contributions to Polkadot for this evaluation cycle, since the work predates the decision to sunset the Gossamer client implementation.
However, please note that future work in this area will not qualify for Polkadot Technical Fellowship contributions in future evaluations.
