Argument

During this reporting period, I continued contributing to the Polkadot ecosystem in the areas of testing, JAM, and developer tooling.

I participated in the Polkadot Security Working Group, which focuses on improving runtime security through automated testing, fuzzing, static analysis, AI-assisted review, and invariant analysis. This work directly supports the reliability and security of Polkadot runtime development.

As part of that effort, I created the Runtime Whitebox Fuzzer (RWF), an AI-assisted analysis runner for Polkadot SDK and runtime repositories. RWF is designed to inspect source code for edge cases, broken invariants, incorrect assumptions, test gaps, and runtime configuration issues. Its early results are summarized in Fellowship referendum 536, including private and public reports against Polkadot SDK pallets and runtime configuration. The project repository is polkadot-fellows/runtime-whitebox-fuzzer, which is currently private due to the security-sensitive nature of the work, while public reports are available through the Polkadot SDK issue tracker under the [RWF] prefix.

I continued work on Boka, the JAM client, and Boka passed the JAM Prize M1 fuzzer. This demonstrates progress toward JAM client conformance and compatibility with the external fuzzing infrastructure used for milestone validation.

I also continued maintaining polkadot-ecosystem-tests and Chopsticks, including keeping tests and local multi-chain development environments aligned with current runtime and XCM behavior. This work supports safer upgrades, better regression coverage, and more reliable tooling for teams building against Polkadot and its system chains.
